Indoor Tricks

Posted by wolf on Tuesday Jan 12, 2010 Under BLOGS

So I just finished playing 9 straight hours of indoor paintball at Sergeant Splatters in Toronto, I only meant to play for a couple hours, and then Review the Salvo 1 by Tippmann, but it was too hard to stop and pull out a Camera.
A few notes for playing indoors: A Tactical light attached to your rails can be a glorious thing, especially for the campers who lay in the floor in dark building at the back, a quick flash from a powerful light like the ones in my video can reveal someone hiding in the dark, it will give away your position too, so be wise when using this method,

Also a red dot sight is Perfect for indoors, if its dark you wont be able to see where your balls are going, sight in your red dot BEFORE the game for about 50 yards, that will give you a one shot, one kill advantage, especially when you have to hit someone across an indoor field, and don’t want to miss, and warn him he’s being shot at.

Your clothes are VERY important, Green camo doesn’t help when your playing in wooden buildings, I Always wear my black uniform when indoors, dark corners will become your best friend, Hey Ninjas have been doing it for Hundreds of years, they must know something right?
I’ll soon be taking part in an Indoor pistol game, keep an eye on my Games schedule to join me and my Crew

END OF THE SEASON, TIME TO GO INSIDE

INDOOR GAMES

Well it’s the end of the paintball season up here in the Great White North, and with the exception of a couple of winter games, I’ll be spending a lot of time playing indoor games, which I LOVE, my specialty is CLOSE QUARTERS BATTLE,
The ability to take over a building from extreme close distances, and maneuver through rooms and buildings is an awesome challenge, I’ll try and do a video on this, but its hard due to lighting.
The Indoor game is a whole different concept then out door, its battle intensive, you Will be hit more unless you’re a camper, and team work is even more important, if I’m on a field, and I see the OPFOR team not talking to each other, or covering their flanks, its really easy to see the weak side, take out the defense, and beable to get them from behind.
Right now my primary field is SERGENT SPLATTERS in Toronto, Ontario, I find their buildings to be well constructed, well laid out, and with two different levels it evens out both sides amazingly, not giving either side too much of an advantage, which is key.
Have a good day guys, drop me a line anytime,
See you in the Tall Grass!
